LIMS (Lands Information Management System) provides for retrieval of available public records over the Internet

  • Citizens can sign up for a free account
  • At a fee users can search for: property ownership details including geolocational information
  • Search for land caveats, cautions and encumbrances
  • Online payment for search services using mobile money
  • Download official land search certificates

RATES PAYMENT

LIMS automates property rates payment via mobile money

  • The system sends SMS and email reminders to property owners with rates arreas
  • Citizens can login and query property arreas status using the plot number
  • Payment can be initiated from the system through stk push after getting rates arreas.
  • Property rates arrears can also be done directly via Mpesa Paybill using a unique plot payment account number allocated by the system for each plot as follows:
    • Select 'Pay Bill' from your M-PESA menu
    • Enter 8013181 as the 'Business Number'
    • Enter the plot payment account number e.g RENT1235
    • Enter the amount you wish to pay
    • Enter your M-PESA PIN
    • Confirm that all the details are correct and press OK
  • Users can login in and download receipts for property rates paid
