Collaboration between governments and development partners plays a key role in spurring growth and development of our country
Today with my colleague Governors from Central Region Economic Block(CeREB), we held bilateral talks with the British High Commissioner Her Excellency Jane Marriot on various Political, Social and Economic issues affecting our counties.
Specifically, TNC we discussed Sustainable Urban Economic Development program (SUED), which is geared towards supporting the participating municipalities to attract investment for critical infrastructure and value chain projects
Through consultation with the stakeholders, the program has identified Milk and food processing as key value chains which will boost our economic development.
We look forward to hosting the British High Commissioner in March this year, as we officiate the Urban Economic Plan and gear up on the investor attraction process.
